Sirata Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida, on the gulf side and only a few steps away from the beach is great option for your next getaway. Mid-range prices, perfect location, affordable food (and drinks!), well-kept – clean – facilities, and friendly staff are just a few of the reasons I recommend Sirata Beach Resort to my clients.
First impressions are important and Sirata Beach Resort makes a good one. From the road, the property looks like all the others but from the moment you enter the driveway and approach the security gate, it’s clear the staff is friendly and helpful. Check-in was easier than expected, we were given a map of the property, reminded that there were plenty of options for food, laundry services, and a gym.
We stayed in a studio room which was both spacious and clean — not to mention only a few steps from the beach. Our room had a full size refrigerator, microwave and kitchen table. We chose this room category thinking we’d save some money by getting groceries. There’s a grocery store close, and we did get a few things to have in the room but the prices at the restaurants on the property was so fair, we chose to eat most of our meals at Harry’s, Rum Runners, or Compass Grille.

Sirata Beach Resort features three restaurants: Rum Runners, Harry’s, and Compass Grille. Each exceeded our expectations. Each had many options in all price ranges, the drinks were affordable, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Live music was a bonus through the afternoon and evening. There were plenty of seats both in and out of the restaurants for relaxing evenings and spectacular sunsets. Whether you want a great burger or seafood, the restaurants on the property have you covered and if you want to go for dinner off the property, there are plenty of options within walking distance. Consider Crabby Bills which is a great option for an off-property dinner.
