Foodies exist in every corner of the world and are always searching for exceptional experiences. I’m not a hard core foodie, but I do enjoy cooking, eating delicious meals, and learning about the history and culture of different cuisines. Especially if I don’t have to clean up afterward! If you love food, you’ll want to check out these curated activities for foodies in the US.

Feast of Saint Augustine

A trip to St. Augustine, Florida isn’t complete without taking the Feast of Saint Augustine walking tour. During this 3 hour guided tour you’ll learn about the city’s food culture and history while visiting restaurants, eateries, and a wine store. It’s the perfect way to explore a beautiful historic city on foot while sampling great food (and some wine) along the way. Your group will be small, 10 or fewer, and your guide will show you plenty of hidden gems in the country’s oldest city. (Read more)

Little Havana Food and Walking Tour

Miami is one of my favorite cities in the US. Nightlife, culture, beaches, and amazing cuisine? You’ll find it (and a lot more) in Miami. A top-rated activity for foodies in the US is the Little Havana Food and Walking Tour. Your guide will teach you about local cuisine while you sample guava pastries, chicken plantain cups, and flan ice cream, among other delicious treats. Your guide will also educate you on the history and culture of this amazing neighborhood. (Read more)

Chef Guided Food Tour of Pike Place Market

Miami is one of my favorite US cities, Seattle is my ultimate favorite. With so much to see and do, it’s difficult for most people to decide where to go first. But you’re a foodie and you know Pike Place Market is where you want to go first. While you’re there, take the Chef Guided Food Tour and soak up all the market has to offer for a foodie like you. You won’t be experiencing the market like a tourist, you’ll be hanging out with a chef — where the chefs hang out! This small group activity will stop at places where you’ll be able to sample the ‘World’s Best’ Mac and Cheese, Local Color coffee shop, Britt’s Pickles, and Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt to name a few. Food, History, and Architecture Walking Tour

Experience Chicago in a day on a half-day tour that lets you sample deep dish pizza, Chicago style hot dogs, an Italian beef sandwich, and snacks locals can’t get enough of. Between bites, get educated on architecture, walk along the river, see the “magnificent mile” and get a feel for this amazing city. This tour is the perfect for first time visitors to Chicago or anyone who wants to experience the city like a local. (Read more)
